Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled Backend Software Engineers to join an expedited, short-term project focused on expanding telehealth capabilities for a leading healthcare platform. The project involves enhancing existing APIs to support new functionality within a telehealth system. This is a fully backend-focused role, requiring expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and AWS. The team will work closely with a technical PM and principal engineer while collaborating with a separate frontend squad.
This is a two-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modify and create new API endpoints within an existing backend system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate additional functionality into the telehealth platform.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of backend services in AWS.
- Work alongside a technical PM and principal engineer to align with project scope and timelines.
Technical Requirements:
- Must-Have:
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS (serverless architecture, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
- Proven track record of building and modifying RESTful APIs.
- Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Terraform.
- Prior experience in healthcare or telehealth systems.
