Job Description

Make an impact as a Backend Team Lead at Wix. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the document management servers, which provide server proto APIs as part of Wix platform and allow modification and retrieval of user intent for all Wix sites across all editors. 

• Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

• Be responsible for the product's architecture and maintain its performance in challenging circumstances

• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing best practices

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to plan, design, develop, test and maintain extraordinary features

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer, ideally with experience leading a team

• Proven track record leading major efforts, prioritizing tasks and delivering high-quality results within set timelines

• Experience with large-scale web applications and the ability to deep dive into complex applications

• Creative, fast learner who enjoys overcoming challenges in a complex environment

• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to help others

• Proactive and always curious to understand why things are done the way they are
