We are looking for motivated backend software engineers to join our engineering team as part of a high-growth B2B SaaS company. You will be designing and building in the Cloud, processing data at scale, analysing real-world cloud data for security vulnerabilities and risks and delivering high fidelity alerts to our customers.
You have a strong interest in cloud technology and enjoy the fast-paced and dynamic culture of building in the Cloud. You have a builder mindset and are always curious about emerging cloud technology. You enjoy using open-source tools, appreciate containerisation technology, and have a strong interest in security in the cloud.
You are an individual who is humble, values feedback, is curious and eager to be part of a winning team that is distributed in Europe and Asia to build a SaaS product that secures cloud infrastructure across the top Cloud Service Providers like AWS, GCP and Azure.
About the Role
- Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle with Agile Scrum methodology and deliver new features on a continuous basis, while maintaining and scaling existing features
- Design and implement event-driven services in AWS with Serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, Neptune)
- Development on our data ingestion and processing pipelines that handle massive data processing workload
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of our backend data processing services
- Optimize our application framework that runs security rules written by our cybersecurity specialists
- Own internal API and data query services that provides data access across internal teams
About You
- You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience
- You have at least 2 years of experience in software engineering with a proven record of accomplishment of building in the cloud
- You are experienced with designing and building applications in AWS and building serverless with CDK and Serverless-Stack
- You are proficient in backend development using Python
- You enjoy working in an Agile environment that practices 100% Continuous Integration and Delivery
- You think about how to test codes before writing them
- You believe in our philosophy of "You Built It, You Deploy It"
Bonus Points if You Have
- AWS and/or GCP cloud certifications
- Golang experience
- NoSQL experience
- Relevant Information security certifications, e.g. CCSP, OSCP, CISSP, SANS
- Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields
