Back End Software Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking Senior Backend Engineers with a passion for building best-in-class server-side components to join our team. As a backend developer, you will be responsible for building the core systems and APIs that power our website and mobile applications.
What You’ll Do:
- Build highly available, scalable, and reliable server-side components and services.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs.
- Create, optimize, and maintain databases.
- Maintain code standards with a special focus on quality, maintainability, and security.
- Work closely with frontend engineers and designers to improve the performance and usability of product features.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, peers, and leaders to define and deliver product features.
- Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations.
What You Bring:
- 6+ years of experience building complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Proven experience in TypeScript and/or GoLang.
- Experience with the design and implementation of APIs.
- Experience with creating, optimizing, and managing databases.
- Experience in Nest.js is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science is preferred.
