Position: Java Developer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our engineering team at Inallmedia.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and updating our web applications, ensuring their performance, and handling various technical initiatives. You will play a key role in system updates, application maintenance, and troubleshooting, as well as supporting initiatives related to system customizations, UX improvements, and deploying content to production.
Scope of Work:
The responsibilities will include:
- System Maintenance: Handling system updates as required by Indeed Engineering, including fixing issues, optimizing performance, and implementing changes.
- Application Updates: Modify the application by adding/removing categories, subcategories, fields, buttons, banners, and chat features as needed.
- Deployment: Deploy content from sandbox environments to production and manage system customizations to enhance user experience.
- Analytics Integration: Add additional analytics from system data to the Idash/JSS dashboard.
- API & UX Updates: Manage API integrations and help with updates to UX features, ensuring the platform functions optimally.
- Data Management: Oversee the exportation of admin data from systems and manage any data integration issues.
- Legacy System Migration: Migrate outdated systems (e.g., Spring Book, IFL, and Python upgrades) and manage dependencies to ensure continued support and integration.
Required Skills:
- Java Development: 6+ years experience in Java development with a strong understanding of core concepts.
- Web Application Development: Expertise in web applications, specifically in help center content forms (17 GitLab projects that need to be updated as they are outdated).
- Version Control & GitLab Expertise: Strong proficiency in using GitLab for version control and managing collaborative development.
- Code Refactoring: Ability to clean up and optimize outdated code for maintainability and performance.
- Dependency Management: Experience with updating libraries, frameworks, and dependencies to their latest stable versions, ensuring compatibility and stability.
- Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for resolving issues and ensuring smooth application functionality.
Nice to Have:
- API Development & Integration: Familiarity with API development and integrating third-party services into the platform.
