About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and versatile Mid-Level Backend / Cloud Developer to join a dynamic project team in Stockholm. In this role, you will play a key part in architecting, developing, and maintaining robust backend services and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in modern cloud ecosystems and is highly comfortable integrating AI technologies—specifically Claude AI—into active development workflows. While your primary domain will be backend and cloud engineering, you are a well-rounded developer who is comfortable stepping in to support frontend tasks on Next.js when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend & Cloud Engineering: Develop, scale, and maintain high-performance backend services leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase Cloud.

• AI Integration: Actively collaborate on cutting-edge AI initiatives, integrating LLMs (particularly Claude) to enhance system capabilities.

• Full-Stack Support: Contribute to frontend feature development and adjustments as required by project sprint cycles.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure exceptional code quality, optimization, and system reliability through modern development practices.

• Autonomous Delivery: Take ownership of features from conception to deployment with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of professional software development experience.

• Deep familiarity and hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase Cloud.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and Next.js.

• Solid conceptual and practical understanding of working with generative AI technologies and APIs.

• Excellent professional English. A basic understanding of the Swedish language is a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Proven ability to work independently, problem-solve proactively, and thrive in an agile environment.
