Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree preferred in Hospitality related field with five (5) years’ experience in similar position. Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills. Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to detail. Knowledge in Microsoft applications including word and excel. Ambitious standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances. Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time. Experience using POS system preferred. Food handler’s training and alcohol license. A combination of education and experience may be substituted. Candidate must be able to pass extensive background check in accordance with Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain gaming license. Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned. (Includes weekends/nights/ and holidays). Frequent lifting may occasionally be required to lift more than fifty pounds. Requires frequent bending, stooping, and walking, and must be self motivated and able to work independently.
The purpose of the Back of House Manager is to assist the Food and Beverage Director in all aspects of the main restaurant and especially the back of house. They provide a more detailed supervisory eye on the specifically food ordering, inventory, food preparation, food presentation, overall cleanness of back of house.
  
Responsibilities and Duties
The Back of House Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the kitchen area, making sure food is served promptly, and presentation is well done, keeping area clean and sanitized. To ensure the guests of Rock and Brews restaurant are receiving quality food. Any questions or concerns will be directed to your immediate supervisor for clarification.
 
  • Manage a team of back of house staff including scheduling training, and general supervision.
 
  • Oversee that all opening and closing duties of the restaurant are completed correctly and that cleanliness and maintenance are maintained.

 
  • Inventory and maintenance of food items and equipment is cleaned and sanitized nightly.
 
  • Complete monthly report for F&B Director.
 
  • Assist with the proper training of employees of all shifts.
 
  • Responsible for making sure all kitchen staff has been trained in the food handers training and have received their certificate, a keeping up to date.
 
  • Always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
 
  • Responsible for monitoring, stocking, and cleaning area.
 
  • Provide excellent guest service to guests and excellent leadership to employees in a pleasant, professional, and friendly manner.
 
  •  Ensures that exceptional internal and external guest service standards are always number one. Communication – balancing listening and talking, speaking, and writing clearly and accurately, influencing others, keeping other informed. Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company.
 
  • Enforce and monitor all health, safety, and sanitation standards in their area.
 
  • Handle guest complaints.
 
  • Work closely with Front of House Manager to provide a seamless experience.
 
  • Responsible for quality assurance of products leaving the serving counter and keeps moving during peak times.
 
  • Ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
 
  • Ability to forecast food and equipment needs.
 
  • Great delegation skills.
 
  • Responsible for training food and beverage staff and to make sure they are following food handling certificates and alcohol service training.
 
  • Be always courteous and professional to co-workers, guests, vendors, or anyone you may have contact with while on duty.
 
  • Gaming badge must be worn on upper left quadrant while on duty or conducting company business.
 
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by immediate supervisor.
