- Develop and enhance backend services using Java
- Build modern, high-performance APIs using Quarkus
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and resilient solutions
- Implement automated testing (unit, integration, performance)
- Work daily with AWS services
- Develop in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
- Contribute to event-driven architectures (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Support observability initiatives including logging, metrics, and tracing
- Follow engineering best practices focused on code quality and maintainability
- Hands-on experience in Java backend development
- Knowledge of Quarkus
- Experience with unit and integration testing
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, ECS
- Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, ECS)
- Understanding of scalability concepts (auto-scaling, load balancing, clustering, disaster recovery)
- Basic understanding of observability (logging, metrics, tracing)
- Knowledge of SOLID, Clean Code, DRY, KISS, and YAGNI principles
- Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Experience with .NET Core, Python, Kotlin, or Go
- Background in financial services, fintech, or payments
- Curiosity, eagerness to learn, and proactive contributions to technical improvements
- English proficiency is a strong plus
