Key Responsibilities:

Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems using Node.js.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

System Architecture:
- Collaborate with the technical team to define system architecture and integration patterns.
- Develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to support frontend and mobile applications.
- Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.

Database Management:
- Design and manage relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient access patterns.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, DevOps, and QA engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure code quality across the team.

DevOps and Deployment:
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and reliability.

Leadership and Mentorship:
- Guide junior developers by sharing knowledge, conducting training, and assisting in technical challenges.
Requirements:

Experience:
- 3-6 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on Node.js.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems.
- Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with database design and management (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
