Job Title: Baan Finance RTR Consultant – Baan ERPs  

Experience: 5+ years in Finance modules in Baan IV, ERP LN FP3 and LN 10.4 ERP versions. 

Job Description: 
We are seeking an experienced Baan ERP Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all Baan ERP Finance sub modules with strong knowledge on one or more ERP Finance functional modules and a strong background in application development, deployment and production support processes. Candidate should have experience in Baan IV, ERP LN FP3 and LN 10.4 ERP versions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding and experience with Baan ERP Finance modules (General Ledger and Fixed Assets). 

• Application Support: Leading Production support for Baan Finance modules. Identifying and resolving complex issues while providing support to end users on Baan applications. Provide support for third-party interfaces and ensure data integrity.  

• Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to Baan Finance modules. Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.  

• User support: Providing technical support to end users on Baan ERP applications, addressing queries and resolving issues.   

• Training: Developing and delivering training materials and sessions for end-users on Baan Finance modules.  

• Knowledge Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures. Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base for easy access to information.  

• Collaboration: Collaborating with clients, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth application management.  

• Data Analysis: Develop simple to medium complexity SQL scripts to extract ERP data for analysis.  

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in application performance, processes, and user experience. Participate in the development and implementation of new enhancements.  

• Business Requirements Analysis: Understanding client's business processes and identifying areas for improvement using Baan Finance modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements. 

• Solution Design: Designing and configuring Baan Finance solutions to meet specific business needs.  

• Module Configuration: Configuring and customizing Baan Finance modules.  

• Implementation: Participating in implementations of Baan Finance modules.  

• Data Migration: Develop Source to Target ERP mapping from or to Baan Finance modules. 

• Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related degree. 

• 5+ years of experience working with Baan ERP application versions with focus on Finance module.  

• Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.  

• Strong understanding of General Ledger and Fixed Assets modules.  

• Good understanding of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Cash Management. 

• Proficient in Business requirement analysis, Gap identification, Solution proposals and Design development.  

• Understanding of Baan functional architecture. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with functional teams and business users. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experienced with SDLC/Agile methodologies and project management tools.
