Job Title: Senior Finance Consultant - Oracle R12 & 11i ERP
Experience: 7+ years in Oracle R12 & 11i ERP (Oracle EBS) Finance modules
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Oracle R12 & 11i ERP Finance Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all Oracle R12 & 11i ERP Finance sub modules with strong knowledge on one or more Finance functional modules and a strong background in application development, deployment and production support processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding and experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
· Application Support: Handling Production support for Oracle Finance modules. Identifying and resolving complex issues while providing support to end users on Oracle EBS applications. Provide support for third-party interfaces and ensure data integrity.
· Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues related to Oracle EBS Finance modules. Identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.
· Training: Delivering training sessions for end-users on Oracle EBS Finance modules.
· Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base for easy access to information.
· Collaboration: Collaborating with end users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth application management.
· Data Analysis: Develop simple to medium complexity SQL scripts to extract ERP data for analysis.
· Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in application performance, processes, and user experience. Participate in the development and implementation of new enhancements.
· Business Requirements Analysis: Understanding client's business processes and identifying areas for improvement using Oracle EBS Finance modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements.
· Data Migration: Develop Source to Target ERP mapping from or to Oracle EBS Finance modules.
· Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (or) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related degree.
· 7+ years of experience working with Oracle 11i and R12 ERP application with focus on Finance module.
· Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
· Strong understanding of modules like Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cash Management, General Ledgers and Fixed Assets.
· Proficient in Business requirement analysis, Gap identification, Solution proposals and Design development.
· Understanding of Oracle EBS functional architecture.
· Understanding of other Oracle EBS modules (Order Management, Procurement etc).
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with functional teams and business users.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification on Oracle Financials (preference to Oracle R12 or 11i versions).
· Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Cloud Finance implementations is a plus.
· Experienced with SDLC/Agile methodologies and project management tools.
