Senior Business Analyst

What does a successful Senior Business Analyst do?

Our Business Solutions team supports strategic EMEA clients across issuer and, where applicable, acquirer platforms. We lead client start‑ups, platform migrations and new product delivery for card and lending products (credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, loan). We deliver with clarity, collaboration and a commitment to practical, testable requirements.

As a Senior Business Analyst you will lead requirements analysis and design for complex, high‑impact programs across EMEA. You will work closely with clients, Business Solution Leads, Product Owners, Program Managers, Engineering and Test teams to shape solutions, own end‑to‑end requirements artifacts and drive successful client onboarding and product releases.

What you will do:

  • Lead end‑to‑end requirements and solution definition for large programs and complex migrations.
  • Produce and govern core program artifacts aligned to FDDM and internal standards: Target Operating Model, Business Solution Document, Standard Configuration Document, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Parameter Specifications, Business Requirements Document (BRD), Test Scenarios & Conditions.
  • Contribute to Agile product delivery: product backlog definition, use case inventory/diagrams and detailed use cases in Confluence.
  • Facilitate client and stakeholder workshops; translate business needs into clear, testable functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure requirements traceability through design, build and test; support UAT and acceptance sign‑off.
  • Provide subject‑matter guidance on operating models, configuration options and parameter design.
  • Mentor and review work from Business Analysts; act as a quality gate for requirements artifacts.
  • Raise and drive resolution of requirement‑related risks, dependencies and RCEs (Request for Concept Estimate).

What you will need to have:

  • Demonstrable experience across payments, card processing or related financial‑services product domains (credit, debit, prepaid, commercial, loan) and delivering start‑ups or migrations.
  • Proven track record producing and owning requirements and design artifacts for large, multi‑stakeholder programs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills with clients and senior internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills; attention to detail and focus on testability and traceability.
  • Familiarity with Agile SDLC and FDDM deliverables; experience with Confluence, JIRA (or equivalent).
  • Coaching mindset with experience guiding junior analysts.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certifications such as CBAP, Agile practitioner certifications or relevant testing qualifications are desirable.
