Overview
The B2B Sales Manager will lead outbound prospecting initiatives focused on manufacturing and industrial clients nationwide. Key Responsibilities
- Build, hire, and lead a high-performing sales development team
- Develop outbound prospecting strategies targeting industrial and manufacturing clients
- Create scalable lead generation and qualification processes
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership to improve pipeline conversion
- Implement CRM workflows, reporting structures, and sales engagement tools
- Monitor KPIs, outbound activity, and pipeline performance metrics
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-driven tools
- Coach and mentor team members on sales performance and best practices
- Collaborate with account executives to improve lead quality and handoff processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience with prior sales leadership experience
- Proven success building outbound prospecting or pipeline generation programs
- Experience managing KPIs, sales processes, and performance metrics
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools
- Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency
- Experience in industrial services, manufacturing, technical services, or related industries preferred
