About the Team:

As part of the global Marketing organization, the B2B Enterprise Marketing team is responsible for driving business growth in partnership with the product and sales teams of our three core businesses: Risk & Compliance, Dow Jones Newswires and Factiva. The team runs a client centric strategy focused on industries and accounts developing and activating campaigns that drive awareness, build our reputation and deepen relationships in select industries and accounts. 

About the Role
In this role, you’ll be responsible for marketing to the Corporates sector (Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharma and other non-financial industries) and driving in partnership with sales and product, revenue growth in the segment and key accounts within. 

To achieve this you will develop and execute a regional plan to drive awareness, position Dow Jones as the trusted partner of choice for enterprise business insights, build a reputation for our capabilities and expertise, and deepen relationships with key clients. We are looking for a strategic Industry Marketing Director, with experience in industry marketing and account based marketing; who has successfully partnered with sales to drive business growth.

This role is based in-person in New York, NY, working on-site in our midtown Manhattan office three days a week, reporting to the VP of Industry Marketing. 

You Will:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Corporates sector (including but not limited to Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals industries), market trends, customer needs and competition. Continuously assess them to identify new business opportunities and optimize strategy.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Sales Enablement, Sales, Product, and the Business team to develop industry campaigns that align product, target audiences and buying groups, driving awareness, engagement, pipeline and revenue generation.

  • Lead the execution of end-to-end marketing campaigns and oversee creative development of campaign assets, including briefs, feedback and rollout for all campaign assets.

  • Partner with the Product and Sales teams to craft messaging and content that resonates with our target audience while reinforcing Dow Jones' reputation and expertise.

  • Work closely with Regional Marketing Leaders to co-create the global strategy for Corporates, incorporate local insights and track the effectiveness of the plan.

  • Collaborate with Content Marketing, Digital Marketing and Event Marketing teams to orchestrate strategies that drive awareness and engagement within select industries/accounts. 

  • Regularly track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), with a focus on account revenue growth and engagement. 

You Have:

  • A minimum of 12 years of B2B Marketing experience, ideally in Field Marketing, Industry Marketing and/or Account Based Marketing 

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing measurable B2B industry marketing strategies that drive revenue growth.

  • Account Based Marketing experience driving awareness, building a reputation, deepening relationships and partnering with sales to drive revenue growth  in select accounts is a plus.  

  • Proven experience working with multiple  business stakeholders and driving consensus around client centric strategies. 

  • Experience in effectively managing marketing budget and time, and ensuring maximum return on investment. 

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas and concepts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Adept at data-driven decision making and business management.

  • Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Range: 175,000.00 - 215,000.00
