This role is pivotal to the SEUK MX B2B Division and will have a key part in enabling the division to build upon success to date, and drive growth across our different product categories in Smartphone, Tablet, MEP and Services.
The B2B Commercial Operations Lead will support the creation, maintenance, and management of the IM B2B plan in terms of Stock, Sales and Revenue.
You will play a key role in supporting the B2B Leadership team focusing on harnessing insights, and driving the sales teams to achieve their revenue and key critical metric targets.
In addition working with each of the sales channels/leads to ensure accurate forecasting is in place, for the defined period and in monitoring performance and driving teams to ensure that their commitments for uplifts of intake are best based on agreed investment levels.
Working closely with finance, supply chain and the account teams to guarantee that the plan is continuously optimised.

Role and Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

  • Accountable for the daily management of the IM B2B plan assessing volume and value and drive initiatives to drive the plan further. Go deep to understand what is behind the performance and make strong timely recommendations on how to correct or offset. Work with internal collaborators to rapidly raise areas of concern and build effective solutions to return performance back to the plan.

  • Lead the quarterly commercial planning process for B2B, identifying and assessing initiatives that will ensure success in the plan and overcome barrier.

  • Be primary approver for sales deduction investment into B2B customers, assessing the commercial benefit, structure and alignment to the B2B Strategy, Product Plan and key investment metrics.

  • Consolidate, interpret and communicate current trading performance with the Sales and leadership team, in order to support decision making, corrective action and capitalise on opportunities.

  • Develop data driven insights to help define the B2B product strategy, to enable sales and marketing teams to deliver revenue and market share targets.

  • Create tools, documentation and reports to support the efficient planning, management and status of the B2B business.

  • Work with wider peer group (including PM, Operations, sales) to optimise processes and implement HQ inspired changes to Sell In, ensuring alignment and consensus with a clear feedback loop and issue management.

  • Coordinate with the Commercial Operations manager to ensure HQ deadlines for Sell Out reporting are achieved timely each month.

  • Be accountable for Salesforce & context system, liaise with HQ & 3rd party provider to ensure the data assembled and reported support the tracking and management of B2B pipeline & renewal opportunities.

  • Support the development of your team through regular mentoring, coaching and feedback, 1:1s and on the job learning opportunities.

  • Role model inclusion for your team to build trust and psychological safety.

  • Ensure communication with your team is a core focus area including cascade of information from LT’s and relevant business updates.

  • Manage the on boarding, off boarding process and the entirety of the colleague lifecycle process for all team members.

  • Manage all annual people management cycles such as goal setting, evaluation and salary reviews to a high quality and in a timely manner.

  • To be accountable for ensuring your team are compliant with company processes and procedures; such as compliance, meeting mandatory business cyclical deadlines, and understanding the company values.

What we need for this role

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel to manipulate, construct and present business data

  • Commercially astute & highly analytical - with the ability to analyse data and articulate clearly the trends and implications of the data

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Ability to de-escalate/solve problems and provide direction for resolution where required.

  • Highly motivated and passionate about what they do.

  • Experience of working with different cultures

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent

  • Experience in the IT and / or mobility market

  • Experience in a Supply Chain or Commercial role would be beneficial

  • Proven exposure of creating & implementing a structured channel plan and in leading that to successful conclusion

  • Good project management skills, and demonstrated competence of achieving results through cross-functional teams
