JOB PURPOSE

At Unilever Beauty & Wellbeing, we inspire ‘beauty-full’ lives so all people can live well and thrive.  Our team is collaborative, inspiring, challenging, and purposeful.  This opportunity is for an entrepreneurial, trend savvy, and consumer-obsessed insights professional who can lead the learning agenda on Beauty Demand Creation Insights.

Beauty Marketing, especially in the world of social media, is a key enabler of the Beauty & Wellbeing strategy.  We are looking for a leader who is passionate about this space, wants to build upon foundational learnings, and create a virtuous cycle of meta learnings to fold back into our Beauty business. 

This role reports to the US Category Growth Strategy & Demand Creation Insights Lead and partners with the local media and brand teams, as well as the global Social by Design Insights team.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer market research, media measurement, social analytics
  • Experience with in-market data analysis, marketing mix modeling, writing queries, and marketing growth fundamentals
  • Expertise with Google Analytics / Ads, PowerBI/Visualization Tools, Social Listening tools (Brandwatch or the like), Social Media Performance Metrics, Excel
  • Familiarity with data sources a plus: Circana (IRI), Numerator, Kantar, Mintel, Euromonitor
  • End to end project management experience with agency partners
  • Excellent relationship-building, engagement, presentation, and communication skills

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

  • Boost media ROI by identifying new digital hair and body care category insights
  • Generate the insights needed to create consumer demand through Social Media Excellence
  • Promote a disciplined culture of media measurement and creative quality
  • Lead the measurement plans for campaigns, audiences, and creative
  • Work alongside eCommerce content specialists and insight leads to improve performance
  • Manage a variety of insight deliverables including social listening, influencer, search, ratings & reviews, brand lift, and competitive analyses

  • Storyteller:  You inspire others to see the possibilities, distilling various data sources into one clear story to provoke action.  You are comfortable with numbers and appreciate analytics to help tell a story.  You can turn complex concepts into simple and understandable stories for non-tech audiences.
  • Resourceful: You ask the right questions, don’t stop until you understand “the why”, and always find a way to link your work to business impact.  You have a scrappy ability to connect multiple inputs to complete our category, brand, and consumer puzzles.  Your curiosity shines in everything you do.
  • Problem Slover: With a lot of data sources, tools, and business partners – you can adeptly navigate the best way to answer research briefs, manage expectations, and deliver actionable insights.  You have a strong ownership-mentality.

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
