controls, and audit standards.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, capacity, and security using enterprise monitoring and
observability tools.
• Develop and maintain logging, metrics, alerting, and dashboard solutions to improve operational visibility
and incident response.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure, networking, platform, and deployment issues across
development, testing, and production environments.
• Raise awareness of operational and security risks by identifying, documenting, and escalating risks
through the bank's governance and risk management framework.
• Continuously evaluate platform architecture and recommend improvements to enhance reliability,
scalability, security, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure cloud environments are operated in a cost-effective manner while maintaining required levels of
availability, resilience, and regulatory compliance.
• Support pre-production validation, release readiness reviews, operational acceptance testing, and
deployment activities.
• Produce and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, deployment
procedures, operational runbooks, standards, and support documentation.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, security threats, and platform engineering
best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to junior engineers and contribute to the
development of engineering standards and best practices.
• Take end-to-end ownership of platform services, ensuring secure-by-design principles, operational
excellence, reliability, and service continuity across the cloud estate.
