Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, ensuring efficient deployment and operation of applications.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Awareness on information security measures such as acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, password security
• Understand and report security risks and how they impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
• Understand how data is stored, processed, or transmitted from a Data privacy and protection standpoint

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance application delivery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps processes, including source control, versioning, and release management.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement security best practices to protect data and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and DevOps trends to continuously improve our practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with monorepo and have understanding of use of GitHub action to build a private turborepo to speed up the build.
• Experience with know-how to reduce the build time and work with the dev team to set up code coverage.

QUALIFICATION

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically with Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies, particularly Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana) and logging frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
