Job Description
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will support daily operations and development for our products, driving success and process measures according to Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The daily activities will be balanced with developing features and improvements, ensuring they are implemented securely, efficiently, and with high performance.Your team
This role is under the DevOps Senior Team Lead, who is based in Costa Rica. This is for a global solution so you will be working in the DevOps IT team in P&G in which you will partner with business leaders, technical authorities and product managers globally to excel in operations support and provide business value by delivering new features for the solution.
How success looks like
- You fully understand technology solutions on an intimate level in a way that you can provide technical support for sophisticated incidents and engage in a deeper conversation with the technical delivery teams and external software vendors.
- You provide recommendations to optimize the cost and performance of the overall solution as well as follow outstanding software practices to ensure the quality of the code.
- You can follow and complete the full lifecycle of software management to develop, test, deploy, and back out code when needed.
- You maintain the Service Level Agreement metrics established within the team to guarantee the best user experience with the tool and accurately communicate in business terms technical issues and their root cause.
Responsibilities of the role
- Code development that meets our internal standards, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale enterprise environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code reviews.
- Resolve incidents raised to the team while following the SLAs established and maintaining the user updated of the progress.
- Maintain systems processes, including the delivery of weekly, daily, monthly status reports to all appropriate parties.
- Pioneer initiatives to reduce cost of infrastructure and/or for performance optimization or Continuous Improvements ideas that can enhance the product.
- Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
Job Qualifications
Technical Qualifications:

Experience implementing solutions in a Cloud provider like: Microsoft Azure.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, C#, ASP.NET, or Java.

Demonstrated skills in databases and data modeling or experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hive, Beam).

Experience developing and supporting reports in tool such as Power BI, Tableau.

Experience on daily IT operations such as Incident and Change Management
Nice to Have:
- Experience making distributed systems observable (e.g., logging, monitoring, request tracing).
- Experience with development best practices, including query optimization, version control, code reviews, and documentation.
- Experience using DevOps and Agile methodologies and practices for project deliverables.
