Position Overview:
Azure Developer needed with at least 3 years of experience to join our software development team, focusing on programming and designing Cloud Services. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and coding new applications, as well as handling maintenance, enhancement, and development tasks, with experience in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and major Cloud Service Providers required.
Duties:

• Work with established contractors and staff to focus on web and Windows applications used by internal teams and external users.
• Provide expertise as a programmer and designer for Cloud Services.
• Implement and develop applications to interface with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and offerings from major Cloud Service Providers.
• Responsible for the analysis, design, and coding of new applications.
• Participate in maintenance, enhancement, and development tasks for existing applications.
• Utilize a range of skills and knowledge of technologies used and supported by the Application Team.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst, Application Architect, and other Application Development Team members to ensure design and code meet customer requirements.
• Work with SaaS and Cloud service providers as needed.
• Comfortable working with C#, .NET Framework & Core, MVC & WebForms, Web Services, SQL, Git SCM, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Application security is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with mobile and responsive design practices is a plus.

Required Skills:

• 3 years of documented Azure experience, with the ability to work independently on complex work efforts.
• 3 years of strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (Azure Functions, Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• 3 years of proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• 3 years of experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or Bicep for provisioning cloud resources.
• 3 years of knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, and GitHub actions.
• 3 years of working knowledge of Azure Functions and Logic Apps.
• 3 years of experience with Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and storage solutions.
• 3 years of understanding of identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, OAuth, etc.), networking security, and compliance best practices.
• 3 years of proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and working with API management.
• 3 years of experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• 3 years of strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
• 3 years of ability to work in Agile teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.
• 3 years of familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps culture.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certifications like AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) or AZ-400 (DevOps Engineer Expert) are highly desirable.
