We are seeking a Senior Azure Databricks
Platform Engineer (5+ years) to augment our platform team and accelerate
the enablement of new AI capabilities within Azure Databricks.
Key focus areas:
- Azure Databricks platform administration and operations
- Enabling AI features such as Model Serving, Vector
Search, Lakebase, and MCP Server
- Azure infrastructure engineering (Networking, Private
Endpoints, Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID, RBAC)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Automation and scripting (Bash; PowerShell desirable)
- Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
- Enterprise security, governance, monitoring, and
operational best practices
- Data platform technologies including Spark, Delta Lake,
Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architectures
- AWS to Azure integration experience desirable
- AI/LLM platform experience highly regarded
Skills Required
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Azure Databricks platform administration and operations experience
- Azure infrastructure engineering experience, including networking, private endpoints, storage, Key Vault, Entra ID, and RBAC
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
- Automation and scripting experience with Bash
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD
- Enterprise security, governance, monitoring, and operational best practices
- Experience with Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and Lakehouse architectures
- PowerShell scripting experience
- AWS-to-Azure integration experience
- AI/LLM platform experience
