We are currently searching for a Azure Data Engineer:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement data pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration.
- Develop and optimize SQL/T-SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing.
- Build scalable solutions in Azure Synapse Analytics (data modeling, partitioning, performance tuning).
- Implement and support data lake and warehouse architectures using ADLS Gen2 and Synapse.
- Ensure data quality, security, and governance with best practices.
- Monitor, debug, and optimize ETL pipelines for performance and reliability.
- Automate data transformation and scheduling processes.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with architects, BI developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in data engineering, including 2–3 years on Azure.
- Hands-on experience with ADF, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong SQL/T-SQL proficiency and performance tuning skills.
- Knowledge of ADLS Gen2, data modeling, and data warehouse concepts.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources (REST APIs, DBs, flat files).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and agile methodologies.
- Understanding of data security, privacy, and governance.
Desired:
- Experience with Power BI, Azure Databricks, or Python.
Languages
- Advanced Oral English.
- Native Spanish.
