Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMN), a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented Sr. Tech Specialist Lead / Azure Cloud Engineer based at our Greenville, NC location.
What you will do:
Work Management
- Provide leadership through assisted strategy setting, facilitating vendor and customer requirements sessions, mentoring and guidance on specifications and work plans.
Provide Technical Specialty and Leadership
- In area of technical specialty, guide and develop others, help set strategy, install, develop, monitor, and guide complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Desired result is efficient, customer friendly and in-control solutions. Best practice technology recommendations and solution delivery. Solutions provided in such a way that the end-user is confident that the expected capabilities are consistent and available for use. Implement approved enhancements as requested and necessary.
- Management of technical work deliverables, assessment, implementation, problem definition, problem resolution, standards definition, project and task management, Leadership to Technical Lead and all levels of Tech Specialists through mentoring, guidance with specifications and work plans, conflict resolution. Root cause analysis. Strategic planning participation. People management and staff assessment.
Strategy, Standards and Continuous Improvement
- Define and guide the implementation of forward looking, innovative and productivity enhancing ideas. Set, manage, and enforce standards for consistency, cost effectiveness and continuous improvement. Proactively manage the inevitability of change to improve existing processes, capabilities, and cost savings.
Dealer and Customer Training
- Train dealers and customers to deliver the solution with excellence. Develop training material and online curricula as necessary, related to project implementations and consultative support.
Communication
- Be a model for excellent customer and internal communications by communicating regularly, educating others on area of specialty, aiding peers and subordinates.

- You are comfortable being on a team that owns the platform for the Azure Cloud Database.
- You have Data Analytics experience.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of related experience
- Azure Administrator Certificate
- Azure Solutions Architect Certificate, preferred
Skills, Experience & Abilities
- People management experience.
- Business, interpersonal, analytical Experience, Training, and Aptitude.
- Service & Results Orientation Experience and Training.
- Interpersonal and Communication Experience, Training, and Self-awareness.
- Experience in areas of technical expertise.
- Professional certifications preferred. (Azure)
- Azure Solutions Architect experience is preferred.
- Systems management and implementation experience.
- Technical process improvement experience .
- Involvement in industry organizations.
- Project Management Institute exposure and practice or NPMM Training. Experience managing technical resources, vendors, and projects.
- Knowledge of professional practices associated with area of technical expertise through experience or education.
