Sr. Azure DevSecOps Engineer

What success looks like in this role:

• Provides DevSecOps Engineering support across diverse applications / systems.
• Designs, implements and manages automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management solutions.
• Develops and maintains robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test and deployment processes.
• Assists with management of containerized applications, including container deployment, scaling and monitoring.
• Assists with code lifecycle management and strategy development for all types of DevSecOps componentry.
• Implements monitoring solutions to track system performance, analyze trends and detect anomalies, configuring alerting mechanisms to notify teams of critical issues.
• Identifies performance bottlenecks and optimizes system components (i.e., databases, application servers and networking infrastructure) to improve efficiency and responsiveness).
• Collaborates with security teams to integrate security practices into development / integration processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep and Terraform.
• Manage and optimize Azure Cloud environments, including Linux and Windows systems.
• Set up and maintain monitoring for cloud applications using Azure Monitor or third-party tools.
• Implement and manage Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) including role-based access control (RBAC), access reviews, and conditional access policies.
• Manage access keys, secrets, and certificate rotation securely using Azure Key Vault or equivalent tools.
• Ensure secure cloud operations, including vulnerability management, remediation, and compliance.
• Collaborate with development teams working in .NET and Java environments to streamline deployments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration.
• Integrate and manage security tools such as Wiz, CrowdStrike, and SonarQube.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes as per ITIL standards.
• Provide support in a 24x7 rotational shift environment, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
• Experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows system administration.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and cloud security principles.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD pipeline setup.
• Familiarity with .NET, Java, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with access key management, certificate rotation, and Azure Key Vault.
• Exposure to security operations, including vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise-grade monitoring tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
• Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400).
• Experience with GitOps and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python).

• We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud, infrastructure automation, cloud security operations, and CI/CD pipeline management. This role also requires strong knowledge of identity and access management, certificate lifecycle management, and ITIL processes.
