The Azure Administrator is responsible for the administration, monitoring, and operational support of Azure based applications and infrastructure. This role ensures system reliability, performance, and availability by supporting deployments, responding to alerts and incidents, managing cloud resources, and collaborating with cross functional teams. The Azure Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining stable production environments while supporting ongoing improvements to operational processes and platform efficiency.
What Will You Be Doing?
- Administer and support Azure hosted applications and infrastructure across development, test, and production environments.
- Assist, advise, and support application and infrastructure deployments to ensure operational readiness and adherence to established processes.
- Monitor system health and performance; proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve potential issues.
- Respond to, investigate, and resolve system alerts and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
- Create and maintain system dashboards and configure alerts to support monitoring, visibility, and proactive incident response.
- Manage, assign, and track support tickets through the Fresh Service portal, ensuring proper prioritization and timely resolution.
- Create, remove, enable, disable, and scale Azure components to maintain optimal system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Evaluate updates and changes to the Microsoft Azure platform, identify potential impacts, and provide operational recommendations as needed.
- Collaborate with application development, network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration within production environments.
- Assist with optimizing Azure resource utilization and cost efficiency through monitoring and operational best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation and assist with onboarding and training to ensure continuity of support and coverage.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What Are We Looking For?
- 4-6 years of experience in an enterprise software support or infrastructure administration environment, preferably in a Tier II or Tier III support role or equivalent education
- Experience administering and operating enterprise infrastructure, including public cloud environments is preferred
- Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including monitoring, alerting, backup, patching, scaling, and security.
- Working knowledge of Application integrations messaging and monitoring platforms such as Azure Service Bus and Application Insights
- Familiarity with web services and RESTful API architectures, including JSON based integrations
- Familiarity with ERP and planning/forecasting platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics and AGR Dynamics
- Ability to write and use Kusto (KQL) queries to assist with monitoring, troubleshooting, and investigations
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator certification preferred
- Ability to prioritize project work and support issues based on customer impact, urgency, and severity
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey issue status, progress, and resolution to stakeholders
- Commitment to staying current on Azure technologies and platform enhancements to support system improvements
What's Our Offer?
Salary Range: You`ll earn between $100,000 - $145,000 annually, depending on experience.
Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.
Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?
Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
