Join the Mizuho team as an Axiom Full Stack Developer!
Mizuho has embarked on transforming our regulatory reporting platform. As part of multi-year effort, team is looking to add a hands on senior axiom controller view engineer to take ownership of technical implementation and ensuring workflows are designed appropriately with proper controls and scalability in mind. This individual will be responsible for working with functional consultants and end users to ensure data sourcing is done properly in Axiom CV and implement workflows in Axiom Controller View.
Job responsibilities include:
- Establish workflows in Axiom Controller View for various Fin Reg reports
- Translate Regulatory requirements into business and data requirements and implement into working features in data pipelines and reports
- Deploy, release, and maintain code across environments and regions
- Manage environments, including Production and DR environments, including data and code branch archival, user roles, groups, permissions
- Deploy branch roll-forward
- Create and maintain technical documentation and associated artifacts
- Guide other developers on the platform and act as SME
- Provide best practices for Axiom implementation
- Build data pipelines/job scheduling scripts from Snowflake into Axiom
- Production troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance tuning
- Plan work and provide input for larger project planning

• Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
• Good communication skills. Team Oriented and can work independently and self driven
Must Have Technical Skills:
5+ years’ of hands-on experience on Axiom Controller View
4+ years of experience in FRY-9C , Call Reports and other Fin Reg reports or 2052A
Experience with SQL Server / Oracle DB
Experience in XML, API, Python
Scripting Experience
Highly Desired:
• Experience in the banking vertical and regulatory reporting
The expected base salary ranges from $105k-$185k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
