Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage security controls across cloud environments (AWS & Azure).
Ensure secure architecture and compliance with industry standards such as CIS Benchmarks, NIST etc.
Implement and manage AWS security services to protect workloads, data, and identities.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to cloud security threats and vulnerabilities.
Integrate and manage third party security tools such as Wiz and Rapid7 for CSPM/CNAPP capabilities.
Collaborate with DevOps and CloudOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps).
Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analysis across cloud resources.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation and Terraform with security best practices.
Enforce governance using AWS Organizations, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and IAM Permission Sets.
Support secure SDLC practices by integrating security checks throughout development lifecycle.
Implement and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect applications from OWASP Top 10 threats.

KMS (Key Management Service)
Experience with IAM roles, policies, and Permission Sets.
Azure Security (Secondary Exposure)
Basic to intermediate knowledge of:
Azure Active Directory (Azure AD)
Microsoft Defender for Cloud
Azure Security Center
Azure Key Vault
CSPM / CNAPP Tools
Hands on experience with:
Wiz or
Rapid7 (InsightCloudSec)
