We're looking for an experienced AWS Tech Lead to join a leading global company in the automotive industry. This is a purely technical role - no direct line management - where your impact comes from architecture ownership, engineering excellence, and the ability to influence how the organization designs and operates cloud infrastructure at scale. As the go-to expert for AWS platform architecture, you'll own critical infrastructure decisions, drive cloud engineering best practices, and directly shape the technical landscape across the cloud.
What you'll be doing:
- Design and implement multi-account AWS environments using Terraform - you own solutions end-to-end, from design decisions through to production delivery.
- Drive FinOps practices - monitor AWS spend, identify optimization opportunities, and implement cost-saving changes directly in the infrastructure.
- Shape cloud standards as a technical voice on the Cloud Governance Board, contributing engineering perspective to the organization's AWS strategy.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, integrating IaC workflows and automation with Python and Bash.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams - define and review technical standards, share knowledge, and support adoption of best practices across the org.
- Stay ahead of AWS and industry trends - evaluate and recommend new technologies and practices where they add real value.
Requirements
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) in production environments.
- Deep understanding of multi-account AWS architectures, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Practical scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
- Experience with cloud cost management / FinOps - not just reporting, but acting on it.
- Strong English communication skills - you'll work closely with distributed, international teams.
- Nice to have: AWS certification, cloud security best practices, prior experience contributing to governance boards or cross-functional standards committees.
Benefits
- Insurance package: life insurance, health insurance, pension plan.
- Meal allowance – 350 PLN per month.
- Car leasing program with attractive employee discounts.
- Access to training opportunities – both technical and focused on organizational culture and best practices (e.g., continuous improvement, effective management, and process optimization).
