KEY Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the technical design, development, enhancement, testing, debugging and maintenance of Cloud applications and supports the design of business processes in the cloud.

  • Maintain applications and infrastructure for cloud-based platforms.

  • Support the creation of strategies to enhance the performance of existing cloud technologies.

  • Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support.

  • Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations.

CORE Skills and experience:

  • 5+ years with AWS hands on development with services with ALL of the following: S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Aurora

  • 5+ years with Programming (Python/Pyspark) –

  • 5+ years with RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL –

  • 5 + years with CI/CD, AWS Infra, AWS CDK

  • 2+ years with Real time streaming with Kafka OR Kinesis –

  • Nice to have experience in banking/finance domain

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Verbal & written communication skills.

  • Collaboration and ability to drive the work with stakeholders.

Salary:

$75,900.00 - $141,900.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
