We are looking for a highly hands-on and self-driven Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You will work alongside 2 Data Engineers and 1 Data Analyst, playing a critical role in elevating the technical quality of our processes and scaling our AWS-based data infrastructure.
Requirements (5–8+ years of experience)- AWS Expertise: Deep experience with services such as Glue, Athena, Step Functions, Lambda, and Kinesis
- Modern Table Formats: Hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg (required)
- Programming & Data: Advanced proficiency in Python (PySpark / Python Shell) and SQL (window functions, CTEs, performance tuning)
- Data Engineering Practices: Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools and data modeling (Dimensional/Kimball)
- Reporting Enablement: Experience preparing data for BI tools and operational reporting
- Databases: Experience with both NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) and relational databases
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
- Autonomy: Proven ability to deliver and troubleshoot complex data systems independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field from an accredited university in LATAM (e.g., Argentina, Chile, México, or equivalent) is required
