The Role

Founded in 2008, Locumsmart provides web-based software-as-a-service solutions to the healthcare recruitment industry. The Locumsmart web-portal provides workflow automation, vendor management (VMS), and managed services provider (MSP) software for lowering costs, and increasing the efficiency of recruitment. Our clients include some of the largest hospital systems and staffing firms in the country.

As a Cloud Engineer at Locumsmart, you will work collaboratively and independently contributing to the growth and maintenance of our AWS infrastructure and DevOps pipelines while supporting our development teams.

Our .NET stack is hosted in AWS, and we continue to push forward with modern technologies to improve our customers' experience and benefit everybody involved in the locums tenens process.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor and improve infrastructure with proper prioritization and collaboration.
  • Maintain our SQL Server environments.
  • Support and expand our CI/CD capabilities.
  • Understand how to code automated infrastructure needs in a cloud native architecture.
  • Automate manual efforts, improving the overall efficiency of our team.

Qualifications

  • AWS (EC2, RDS, Beanstalk, Lambda, etc.)
  • Microsoft SQL Server Administration and SQL proficiency
  • CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) with a focus on .NET Core Applications
  • Linux/Windows Server Administration
  • Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
  • Scripting (e.g., python, PowerShell, bash, etc.).
  • BS degree in Computer Science, equivalent work experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure, or one of the following certifications:
    • AWS Certified Professional Solutions Architect
    • AWS Certified Professional DevOps Engineer
  • 5+ years of increasing experience and knowledge in the installation, configuration, design, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting an enterprise application infrastructure
  • 3-5 years of experience working in a cloud environment (AWS Preferred)
  • .NET Application software development experience preferred
  • SIEM (Security information and event management) experience preferred
  • Networking (DHCP, DNS, Routing, Subnets, etc.) preferred

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $91,100 -- $247,200 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
