Job Summary
We are seeking an AWS Architect who has strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation). This is a Full-time and Remote position.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop data lakes, manage data flows that integrate information from various sources into a common data lake platform through an ETL Tool.
- Design and Develop Data warehouses for Scale.
- Design and Evaluate Data Models (Start, Snowflake and Flattened).
- Design data access patterns for OLTP and OLAP based transactions.
- Triage, debug and fix technical issues related to Data Lakes and Data Warehouses.
- Coordinate with Business and Technical teams through all the phases in the software development life cycle.
- Participate in making major technical and architectural decisions.
- Hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions.
- Maintain and Manage Code repositories like Git.
What You'll Need
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years in solution architecture roles.
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, EKS, API Gateway, CloudFront, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation).
- Experience in microservices architecture, serverless design, and containerization.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using tools like Jenkins, Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with data analytics services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Glue, EMR) and Big data technologies like Spark & Hadoop.
- Good understanding on Visualization and Data science.
- Strong experience in architecture & designing in Databricks or Snowflake.
- Exposure in Gen AI architecture & solutioning.
- Excellent problem solving, communications, and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 4+ years in solution architecture roles.
- 5+ years of experience designing and deploying applications on AWS cloud platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
Physical Demands
- This role involves mostly sedentary work, with occasional movement around the office to attend meetings, etc.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks on a computer, using a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
