We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Sales Development Executive to drive growth of our Away from Home business across the UAE. This role is operational and field-based, you will be focusing on opening new accounts, expanding product range with existing customers, and securing long-term partnerships. While the role covers all Foodservice channels (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés, Catering, QSR, Institutions, Wholesalers, etc.), special attention will be on developing restaurants, cafeterias, and wholesale accounts. You will also be responsible for cultivating and enhancing the collaboration with the distributors' sales teams. In this position you will have a high degree of contact with food professionals, procurement managers and head chefs of our key accounts. This position reports directly to the Away from Home Manager UAE & Oman and will be full-time.
What's on the menu?
- Business Development: Identify and secure new accounts across all Emirates. Build strong relationships with restaurants, cafeterias, and wholesalers to increase distribution and sales.
- Customer Penetration: Expand product listings and increase SKUs sold per customer. Conduct product presentations, sampling sessions, and demos with chefs, procurement teams, and business owners.
- Distributor Collaboration: Work side-by-side with distributor sales teams to execute joint customer visits. Drive distributor focus beyond Dubai into Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Northern Emirates. Motivate distributor sales reps to achieve agreed targets.
- Execution & Follow-up: Ensure product trials convert into repeat business. Track orders and address customer issues promptly.
- Market Insights: Collect customer feedback and competitor intelligence (pricing, promotions, new launches). Share insights to support AFH strategy development.
- Reporting: Maintain a clear pipeline of prospects and conversions. Submit weekly activity and performance reports.
What You Bring:
- 2-3 years of Foodservice sales experience in the UAE (distributor or FMCG background preferred).
- Proven ability to open new accounts and grow distribution in restaurants, cafeterias, and wholesalers.
- Hands-on, field-oriented approach with willingness to cover all Emirates.
- Strong customer-facing skills: relationship-building, negotiation, and closing.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Must demonstrate a contagious passion for food.
- Proactive attitude and collaborative mindset to network on a cross-functional level.
- Being able to work under pressure.
- Fluent in English; Hindi, Arabic is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license & car is a must.
