The Associate Vice President of Technology Enablement will support the Clinical and Interoperability IT teams by owning platforms, applications, and overall Testing Strategy for these areas. This role will also be critical in the implementation and support of the new Clinical Platform as well as our Integration Engine. This position requires a highly technical individual with a thorough understanding of both infrastructure and software development to drive innovation and efficiency. As application owner, there is a strong focus on Technology Lifecycle management, Security Vulnerability closure and overall maintenance of our applications/platforms
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Oversees the health of our applications and platforms which we support. Acts as the accountable owner for keeping our applications up to date and running as efficiently as possible ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
Project Oversight Manage tight timelines and high-visibility projects, prioritize tasks to maximize business value, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Serves as Technical Owner for Epic and Rhapsody Platforms:
Provide strategic direction and technical oversight for platform architecture, integration, and performance. As well as standing up a governance process to ensure the necessary controls needed are in place to support a well-managed platformFacilitates Clinical Testing processes and Execution: Establish overall testing strategy inclusive of Humana’s Clinical and Interoperability IT organizations, but is owner for Clinical IT testing. This includes all aspects required to test our applications and platforms
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, working closely with CMS guidelines.
People Management: Lead a large team with a focus on employee satisfaction, professional development, and performance management.
Innovation: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop innovative solutions. Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the IT department, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
AI First Mindset to drive the use of AI into the organization especially from a Testing perspective.
Business and Technology Partnership: Team-oriented approach with a focus on collaboration and partnership across departments in both the business and IT.

Required Qualifications
Master's Degree or equivalent experience
10 or more years of technical execution and delivery experience
8 or more years of management experience
Advanced understanding of operations, technology, communications and processes
Possess 10+ years of progressive experience leading continuous improvement efforts, evaluating existing systems and implementing process improvements.
Must be maniacal about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience in cloud architecture, software development, and IT infrastructure. A background in code development is preferred.
Clinical Process and Interoperability/Data Integration Expertise: Prior Platform integration and implementation experience a Plus. Must understand how the data flows through channels and owning and overall strategy to efficiently leverage the data across Clinical and Interop teams.
Value Creation: Deep financial acumen including capitalization, OpEx, accruals, NPV realization, etc. Strong understanding of business ROI and ability to tie financial goals to technology solution decisions.
Leadership: Proven track record in people management, with demonstrated results in employee satisfaction and team performance. Experience building relationships with business partners.
Project Management: Prior ownership of a portfolio that supports tech development for multiple business partners. Ability to prioritize competing requirements, manage tight timelines, and pivot quickly, achieve business objectives. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
