This role is responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive Talent Strategy that integrates Learning & Development (L&D), Organizational Effectiveness (OE) and Talent Management (TM) to build a high-performing, agile, and future-ready workforce for Alignment Health.This role will partner with senior executives, HR leaders, HR Business Partners, and functional business partners to design scalable, innovative talent and learning strategies that foster a culture of continuous growth, leadership excellence, and career development. They will continuously evaluate emerging HR technologies and trends to identify opportunities for improving talent strategies and preparing the organization for future capabilities
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Workforce Planning & Talent Management
- Lead the development and execution of the Organizational Talent Calibration process, ensuring robust succession planning for critical leadership and specialist roles.
- Leads strategic workforce planning, evaluates external labor market conditions and internal growth projections on-going, and analyzes data to drive sound people/talent strategies and decisions; analyzes opportunities to bring the outside in and executes new trends in partnership with the business and HR.
- Partner with HR Business partner and business leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent pipelines.
Organizational Effectiveness (OE) & Leadership Development
- Design and implement leadership development programs focused on building scalable and future-ready leadership capabilities.
- Build leadership and managerial capability across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee the design of programs that accelerate leader readiness and drive business transformation.
- Act as a key partner in change management efforts, ensuring talent and learning strategies enable business growth and agility.
Performance Management
- Develop and manage performance management systems that promote accountability and continuous improvement.
- Align performance metrics with organizational objectives and individual OKRs.
- Develop tools and training programs for managers on effective performance evaluation and feedback techniques.
Employee Engagement
- Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze feedback to inform action plans.
- Design and implement engagement strategies to enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leaders to address engagement challenges.
Measurement & Insights
- Define clear success metrics for all talent and learning programs and ensure continuous evaluation for business impact. Leverage workforce data and predictive analytics to drive talent decisions.
- Implement industry best practices and innovations to enhance talent effectiveness.

Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Communication, Psychology, Business, or a related discipline
- 15+ years experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years in management position within Human Resources
- Analytical and systems thinking mindset with the ability to leverage facts and information for strategic decision-making.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with strong ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Experience leading large-scale, enterprise-wide talent and learning initiatives.
- Track record in organizational development and expertise in the application of OD tools (e.g. Galbraith)
- Track record in organizational change management and able to leverage CM tools (e.g. ADKAR)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of designing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Experience in data analysis and HR metrics (Excel, PowerBI, Workday)
Pay Range: $198,219.00 - $297,329.00Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
