Job Description
Job Objectives:
Lead and deliver with consistently good quality UOB AML systems optimization/enhancements/changes into Production for BAU Production Issues
Provide reliable and timely Level 3 investigative and fix-it support for all UOB AML systems
Provide reliable leadership and support during System Integration Testing and UAT phases.
Identify early and escalate critical delivery show-stopper with proper context timely and to propose viable solutions or workarounds where possible
Responsibilities:
Manage AML system changes/production fixes, design, development and unit testing
Review and contribute to test planning for SIT and UAT
Manage and work with vendor teams to successfully deliver enhancements for AML systems
Manage and work with stakeholders during all phases of system changes delivery
Set up and maintain application Infrastructure in Unix, Windows and Oracle environment
Effect system changes into test and production environments by following application change implementation process via the Bitbucket, Jenkins and Aldon change management tools
Conduct technical delivery/process knowledge and best practices sharing/training sessions with internal teams to raise teams competency level.
Implement application performance monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks.
Drive database optimization, support functional/backend process optimization to enhance overall system responsiveness and false alerts and improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
Working experience with AML applications (eg. Fircosoft, Actimize. NR Detica) or Linux environment background
Good written and verbal communication skills and analytical ability
System enhancements delivery experience in the banking industry
Hands on experience in design and configurations/development work
Experience in leading, with good results, design gathering and design workshops with users as part of change delivery or defects fixes work
Strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL design and development skills
System delivery Operational impact awareness
Ability to understand SLA / KPI and deliver items within correct time space
Ability to have vendor interaction and management skills
