As part of the Strategic Program Office, you will manage and track a portfolio of Projects under Consumer Banking & Wealth Management Operations (CBWMO). You will work closely with the Project Managers, Platform Leads, Technology teams, Ops COO and Finance business unit controllers in tracking the Financials and Outcomes of Projects. You will run the monthly Project Steering Committee (PSC) meeting and work with the stakeholders for the platform initiatives budget.Responsibilities:
- Work closely with diverse stakeholders such as Project Sponsors, Project Managers, Platform Leads, Technology teams, Ops COO and Finance business unit controllers
- Prepare the presentation materials and project statuses for the monthly Project Steering Committee (PSC) meetings
- Maintain proper documentation of PSC meeting minutes and ensure follow-up on action items
- Review business cases with Project Managers and Finance business unit controllers
- Manage and track CBWMO projects’ financials and benefits such as budget, forecast and actual spend alongside project status and outcomes
- Assist with the collation, compilation and tracking of the Annual Budgeting exercise for CBWMO’s Platform initiatives
- Lodgement of project contracts and processing of invoices
- Collate progress status and updates for Scorecard and Platform KPI reporting
- Monthly tracking and reporting of project resources
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in finance and project management preferred
- Familiar with basic Finance concepts preferred (e.g. Profit & Loss, capex, opex, depreciation, payback period)
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office 365 tools, proficient in Excel (use of pivot tables, charts, and formulae) and Powerpoint
- Analytical, articulate, and able to communicate comfortably with diverse stakeholders
- Proactive in problem-solving, planning and organizing skills with an eye for detail while managing tight timelines
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- A team player with a positive attitude and pleasant interpersonal and communication skills
