Job Overview:

The Strategic Accounts team is responsible for managing the relationships with LPLs largest RIA and OSJ relationships, with over 55 firms, 7500 advisors and $500B in AUM.  These are amongst the most important and complex relationships within the LPL ecosystem.


The Internal Strategic Account Manager works alongside the Strategic Account Management (SAM) team to assist with pivotal relationships within LPL. The primary mission of the Internal Strategic Account Manager is to align the right resources at the right time to help drive results in growth, retention and client satisfaction through complex problem resolution, often working directly with advisors and the enterprise home office.


Responsibilities:

  • Own and resolve complex business issues (ie business structure, affiliation, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Strategic Account manager to complete and maintain Business/Relationship Assessments by firm
  • Maintain complete, up-to-date SalesForce records for all covered advisors
  • Own the contract accommodations and service-related credits process for the SAM
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendor partners to drive value added industry thought leadership
  • Maintain relationships with high impact clients to understand key players in the firms and ensure complex issue resolution is completed
  • Ensure VIP clients are receiving white glove service
  • Handling of day-to-day tasks required for high client satisfaction and to ensure SAMs are informed of any potential risk with top clients
  • Meetings with Large Enterprise clients to discuss service and resolutions
  • Meeting preparation documents and updates for SAM
  • Contract fulfillment for pricing and service accommodations
  • Project management for complex requests from individual advisors (registration, comp, service, technology, etc.) Provide leadership for Case Management process for SAMs and LEs, making sure that complex requests are getting resolved in a timely manner
  • Collaboration across multiple LPL departments for project management and updates; maintaining relationships with leaders across the ecosystem
  • Communications to select Large Enterprises for periodic updates

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales, relationship management, wholesaling, or senior client service roles
  • 5+ years of experience within the financial services industry
  • Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or the Series 63 and Series 65 licenses in lieu of the Series 66) or the ability to obtain within 90 days
  • 3+ years of project management experience, including managing cross-functional initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience utilizing Salesforce CRM and related tools

Pay Range:

$100,116.00 - $166,860.00
 
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
