Role Summary/Purpose:
The Project Manager leads process improvement initiatives from concept through early implementation. This role collaborates with Business Owners to shape the initiative’s direction—clarifying the problem to solve, defining desired outcomes and success measures, challenging and simplifying current processes, and aligning stakeholders on the best path forward. The role then converts that strategy into an executable delivery approach by establishing process controls, sequencing work across cross-functional teams, defining scope and deliverables, and producing an implementation roadmap. The role may lead the effort into execution by driving decisions, managing dependencies/risks, and ensuring teams are mobilized with a clear plan or develop a fully formalized plan that can be given to a Program Manager for ongoing delivery.
