Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of hands-on data engineering expertise to design, build, and govern enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.

This role focuses on building trusted, certified, and discoverable data assets by implementing robust data validation, quality assurance, certification frameworks, and data cataloging processes. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering skills with a governance mindset to ensure data reliability, transparency, and enterprise adoption.

•    10+ years of overall IT experience, with strong background in data engineering and analytics platforms.
•    5+ years of relevant data engineering experience in cloud or enterprise environments.
•    Hands-on expertise in:
o    Microsoft Azure (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Synapse)
o    Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Pipelines, Notebooks)
o    SQL, Python, and PySpark
•    Strong experience designing data validation and quality frameworks.
•    Demonstrated experience implementing data certification and trusted data asset workflows.
•    Hands-on experience with data cataloging and metadata management tools (Microsoft Purview preferred).
•    Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata management.
•    Experience working in Agile environments with strong collaboration skills.
