Target Range:
$110,000.00/Yr. - $130,000.00/Yr.
Actual starting pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Cash Bonus Target: 12.5%
Eligible for an Annual Discretionary Restricted Stock Units Bonus Target: 12.5%
These discretionary target bonuses may be awarded semi-annually based upon your achievement of performance goals and targets.
About This Job
As Assistant Vice President of Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Portfolio Management, the focus is managing existing commercial loan relationships with an emphasis on non-real estate business verticals. The ideal candidate is experienced in managing a complex commercial loan portfolio, applying portfolio management processes and procedures, and commercial credit policy.
Responsibilities:
- Support the deal team assigned, including originators, underwriting and portfolio analysts in the divisions assigned by providing a risk management and objective focus to portfolio commercial loan relationships
- Manage and monitor a commercial portfolio, recognizing and managing early warning signs for the portfolio on a recurring basis
- Recommend changes in structure (amendments/waivers) or account management strategy to address negative trends
- Manage and monitor loan products including affirmative and negative financial covenant compliance and comply with internal and external regulatory requirements
- Manage ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Ongoing monitoring of financial trends, collateral trends, and liquidity
- Recommend appropriate courses of action to address risk management and credit issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- 5+ years working in a financial institution
- 3+ years in a transactional role
- Demonstrate a strong level of commercial credit underwriting
Preferred:
- Syndicated lending and/or management experience
