Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver Wealth Management technology initiatives. The role requires strong techno-functional expertise across wealth products, solid understanding of IT project lifecycle, and hands-on technical knowledge in modern application architecture (e.g., Java, Microservices).
The incumbent will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery & Governance
Lead end-to-end project delivery across SDLC (initiation, design, build, testing, deployment)
Prepare and manage project plans, timelines, budget, and resource allocation
Track project progress, risks, and issues, with timely escalation and resolution
Ensure compliance with internal IT governance, audit, and regulatory requirements
Provide regular status reporting to senior management and steering committees
2. Stakeholder Management
Engage business stakeholders (Wealth, Front Office, Operations) to gather and validate requirements
Act as a liaison between business users, development teams, and vendors
Drive alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery timelines
Facilitate workshops, solution discussions, and decision-making forums
3. Wealth Management Domain Delivery
Manage projects related to wealth products such as:
Equities, Bonds, Unit Trusts, FX, Structured Products
Portfolio management, order management, and reporting systems
Ensure solutions meet business needs, client journey expectations, and regulatory requirements
Support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off with business users
4. Technical Delivery Oversight
Work closely with development teams on system design and architecture
Review technical solutions including:
Java-based applications
Microservices architecture
API integration and distributed systems
Ensure adherence to IT architecture standards, security, and performance requirements
5. Cross-domain Coordination (Infrastructure & Platform)
Coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, and network teams to support project delivery
Ensure readiness of environments (Dev / SIT / UAT / Production)
Manage dependencies across application, infrastructure, and external systems
6. Vendor & Risk Management
Manage third-party vendors, including delivery performance and quality control
Identify project risks, define mitigation actions, and monitor execution
Ensure proper documentation, audit traceability, and control adherence
Requirements
Academic & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines
Work Experience
3–5+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in project management
Proven experience delivering banking or Wealth Management systems
Experience working in large-scale IT transformation or digital initiatives
Knowledge & Skills
Functional (Must-have)
Strong knowledge of Wealth Management products and processes
Understanding of front-to-back office flows
Technical (Critical Requirement)
Solid understanding of software development concepts:
Java-based application development
Microservices architecture
API / integration frameworks
Ability to engage with developers and review solution design (not just functional PM)

Basic understanding of:
Infrastructure (servers, cloud, environments)
Middleware (e.g., application servers, messaging)

Experience in UAT coordination and delivery governance
