The Role

Brief Description of the Organization:

The Citi Controls – End User Computing (EUC) Governance team is responsible for the development of consistent principles and standards to govern and manage End User Computing (EUC) and and IT Enabled Smart Solutions (ITeSS) in a consistent manner across Citi. The team partners with the businesses and functions to drive continuous development of enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, and processes, and develop consistent approach and practices. The team is also responsible to measure policy adherence and remedial actions associated with Policy adherence as well as drive the progress of the EUC program.

Responsibilities:

  • Execution of quality assurance reviews of in-scope EUCs across Citi businesses and functions.
  • Proactive engagement with business/functions EUC owners in performing QA reviews and obtaining required supporting documentation
  • Identification and escalation of emerging risks or gaps resulting from QA findings and other engagements with business partners in support of root cause analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating issues as well as recommending appropriate and pragmatic solutions. Additionally, monitoring of agreed remedial action plans to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Focus on continuous control improvements across all areas to ensure continued improvement of the control framework in an efficient, cost effective, streamlined, and value-adding manner.
  • Providing support, as and when needed, to other EUC Remediation Program book of work
  • Partner with other SMEs in Governance, Tooling, Training, Communications, Quality Assurance, Transformation, and Reporting teams to identify areas for improvement
  • Work with senior leaders and their teams across the various Businesses and Functions to include Second and Third Lines of Defense.
  • Prepare and present recurring updates for executive management and sectors, tracks progress and issues managed by other areas such as business, technology, and senior management to identify emerging risks.
  • Lead and support development of EUC communications on key risk and control topics and initiatives.
  • Assess tooling and workflow performance and seek process efficiencies
  • Develop and maintain documentation for record management and procedural purposes
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish
  • 5+ years of analytical / control testing work experience
  • General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and ‘connect the dots,’ be detail-oriented, and manage competing priorities including emerging risks to deliver solutions in an effective control environment
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills for EUC solution identification, implementation, and tracking of effective remediation, and design of sustainable processes.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and influence key partners to achieve business objectives; must be able to work well with geographically dispersed multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated, highly adaptive, and able to work well under high stress
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree / relevant experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
