About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Management Analyst
In this role, you will:
Participate in less complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Design and monitor data governance, data quality and metadata policies, standards, tools, processes, or procedures to ensure data control and remediation for companywide data management functions
Support communications with basic documentation related to requirements, design decisions, issue closure, or remediation updates
Support issue remediation by performing medium risk data profiling, data or business analysis, and data mapping as part of root cause or impact analysis
Provide support to regulatory analysis and reporting requirements
Recommend plans for the development and implementation of initiatives that assess the quality of new data sources
Work with business and technology partners or subject matter professionals to document or maintain business or technical metadata about systems, business or data elements, or data-related controls
Consult with clients to assess the current state of data quality within area of assigned responsibility
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in Financial/Risk/Regulatory data handling & reporting
Experience in Financial Data Mapping & Modeling
Qualification – MBA/B.Tech/B.E/ MCA
Good understanding of Data-warehousing Fundamentals and experience in Source-Target Mapping, Lineage Tracing, Data Governance
Sound in SQL, Big Data Query Techniques
Experience of working in Agile Methodology and JIRA
Good Communication & Presentation Skills
Traits of Ownership & ability to drive deliverables with minimal guidance
Result-Oriented mindset and demonstrating traits of being thoughtful & innovative
Ability to inculcate and follow good Team Dynamics/Team Hygiene
Knowledge & good working exposures with one or more of the following: Regulatory Reporting, Credit & Market Risks, Funds Transfer Pricing, Asset-Liability Management

Finance Transformation Office (FTO) is transforming the way that Wells Fargo Finance users uses and manages data, our work enables Wells Fargo to empower and inform our team members, deliver exceptional experiences for our customers, and meet the elevated expectations of our regulators. The team is responsible for designing the future data environment, defining data governance and oversight, and partnering with technology to operate the data infrastructure for the company
This is an Offshore IC role within DMI and is part of eIDF Instrument – Build Team. Build involve Techno-Functional activities revolving around data modeling & custom designs, integration of different source systems, ETL optimizations etc.
The activities in this role encompass understanding current data models & source systems; doing Tech/Functional heavy analysis and due diligence on mapping & lineage, transformation logic etc.; coordinating with Technology Team to ensure developments; doing quality validation and ensuring proper data governance and control in place.
Doing on-time & quality delivery Liaison with stakeholders/Technology Partners & providing supports to ensure deliverables are in line with business strategy Providing detailed analytical insights Assessing Risks, ensuring mitigations, escalating issues/defects & working with technology partners to research and remediate as needed
