Responsibilities:
- Assists in protecting Citi's assets and continuity of business from fortuitous loss, through risk analysis/financing, placement and administration of property/casualty insurance programs, captive insurance company management.
- Contributes to insurance claims management, loss engineering and risk control.
- Participates in risk management advisory services to business units, approval/monitoring of local insurance purchasing, local insurers and insurance brokers.
- Provides insurance and risk management advisory services to business units as appropriate.
- Supports insurance program placement/renewal activities, as needed; including timely and accurate underwriting information gathering and analysis, policy and claims monitoring/ tracking and ongoing related business unit guidance.
- Provides support on other risk management initiatives and/or projects as required.
- Supports compliance activities in respect of internal policies/standards and applicable insurance regulations including internal compliance coordination, analysis, timely reporting and ongoing monitoring.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel (PowerPoint and Access a plus)
- 5-8 years relevant experience
- CPCU and/or ARM designations a plus
