Job Description
Key Responsibilities / Duties
- Produce daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the clients including regulatory reporting (e.g. Basel III) accurately and timely
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and inquiries from internal/external clients
- Maintain strong working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure production workflow is smooth and production requests are handled timely
- Participate in issue investigation and research, and escalate issues to ensure they are resolved accurately and effectively
- Proactively contribute ideas, research and recommend continuous improvement opportunities (e.g. process automation)
- Participate in any global/regional/local projects and initiatives where necessary
Work Experience / Knowledge / Education / Formal Qualifications
Work Experience / Knowledge:
- 5+ years of experience in financial services domain, preferably in asset management industry
- Understanding performance calculations, with exposure to investment accounting
- Prior experience of Client and Fund Reporting is preferred (especially customized client reporting)
- Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail; strong numeracy
Formal Education:
- University graduate or above
Skills / Other Personal Attributes
- Good written and verbal communication in Japanese and English, interpersonal and conflict management skills
- Be client focused with a keen interest in providing superior investment experience to clients
- Be an open-minded and strong "out-of-the-box" team player who challenges status-quo.
- Good organization skills, detail oriented and work under pressure with tight deadline
- Self-managing and proactively prioritize his/her work
