In this position, you would be responsible for coordinating, executing, and supporting audio and video conferencing. Most of your time will be focused on helping active AV projects and transitioning them to business-as-usual (BAU) operations. The remainder of the workload would focus on handling Level 3 and Level 4 AV escalations. This will require coordination between network teams, vendors, and key business personnel. The holder of this position will be expected to have a solid understanding of an enterprise IT infrastructure operational environment, adhering to best practices in the AV industry. About the role:
- Responsible for engineering and implementation of technology solutions, including collaboration and management solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams on developing global policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external architecture teams to develop and recommend technologies to streamline the deployment of all hardware and software in our environment.
- Mentor and provide process, support, and advice to Level 2 and Level 3 Unisys teams.
- Educate internal technical teams (Site Services) on problem resolutions to minimize repeat requests and provide timely follow-up related to AV infrastructure.
- Contribute to, produce, and maintain processes, procedures, and operational and architectural documentation that meet internal standards and guidelines.
- Change Control - Ensure compliance with processes and adherence to standards, as well as proper documentation.
- Assist with engineering activities on the Microsoft Room Portal management system (approximately 450 MTRs).
- Support our Crestron Fusion Room Schedular environment and platform.
- Provide engineering guidance on audio-only devices.
- Maintain and support all Mersive (Solstice) devices.
- Collaborate with Site Services technicians to coordinate support, upgrades, troubleshooting, training, and other related tasks.
- Provide MSP governance/ work with external vendors as needed to obtain support
- Continue new/refreshed (TR) site engineering support
- Proactive problem resolution for MS Teams devices
- Identify, analyze, and propose resolutions to “Known Errors” of the infrastructure as part of proactive problem management
- Liaising with 3rd party suppliers whose products interface with Cushman & Wakefield systems
- Support and development of telephony solutions in multiple global locations working with local engineers and telecom providers as appropriate
- Participation in global working groups responsible for the deployment and development of global technology systems and infrastructure
- Identify and implement preventative maintenance and performance optimization solutions to meet operational objectives.
- Follow ITIL and Service Management Processes such as Incident, Problem and Change management processes
- Collaboration with Regional and Global teams for system and services implementation, new projects, and operationalizing processes and procedures
- Experience with O365 and Teams.
- Applicants must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks under specific deadlines while working in a fast-paced production environment.
About You:
- Working knowledge of Polycom, Crestron, Logi, Mersive and Microsoft Room Systems
- Experience assisting end users with scheduling, setting up, and running audio and video conferences
- Experience with complex conferencing and event workflows, understanding the end-user needs and how our solutions can be used to meet those needs.
- Level 3 technical assistance, including scheduling and facilitating audio and video conferences between end users, internal offices, and client offices, as well as providing essential maintenance and troubleshooting of the conferencing systems to minimize interruptions.
- Experience with Device Management.
- Understanding of enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, VPNs, WLANs, and other related technologies.
- Experience in managing complex AV environments, implementing upgrades, improving processes, and troubleshooting.
- Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to collaborate with regional and global teams as well as work independently to complete assignments.
- Demonstrable experience working for a large enterprise, with familiarity in IT frameworks such as ITIL. An understanding of the advantage for Change and Incident Management processes to the organization
