About the Role
We are looking for an experienced AUTOSAR Engineer to join the ECU development team at MBRDI. In this role, you will work as an ETH Switch Architect within the platform department, contributing to the development and integration of Ethernet Switch ECUs. You will play a key role in shaping platform components and supporting the strategic direction aligned with the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MBOS).
What You Will Do
- Participate and provide inputs and recommendations for ETH Switch ECU integration topics
- Work as an ETH Switch Architect within the platform team
- Contribute to the strategic direction of platform components aligned with MBOS
- Orchestrate ETH Switch design decisions across multiple feature verticals
- Ensure robustness and scalability of Ethernet Switch implementations
- Understand ETH Switch requirements and provide technical inputs to ECU development teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges
- Support integration and validation of communication stacks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
What You Need to Be Successful
- 4 to 6 years of experience in AUTOSAR-based ECU development
- Strong knowledge of AUTOSAR architecture and module interactions
- Hands-on experience in AUTOSAR Ethernet Switch stack integration
- Experience in configuring communication stacks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), preferably using Vector stack
- Strong programming skills in CAPL scripting
- Good experience with CANoe tool
- Strong Embedded C programming and debugging skills
- Experience working with large codebases and prototyping/experimentation
- Knowledge of multiple AUTOSAR vendor stacks (Vector, EB) and methodologies
- Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
- Experience with various microcontrollers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive and self-motivated mindset
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience working on Ethernet Switch architecture at a platform level
- Exposure to MBOS or similar automotive OS platforms
- Advanced debugging and performance optimization skills in communication stacks
- Experience working across multiple ECU domains or feature verticals
