The National Security Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for an Autonomous and Semi-Autonomous Systems Engineer in Albuquerque, NM as part of our Counter-WMD Systems Engineering and Integration Team, supporting the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Primary responsibilities include performing systems engineering in support of a team developing autonomous and semi-autonomous systems for counter-WMD employment, to include development, integration and testing.
This position is new work which we expect to be awarded later in 2025.

In this role you will:
- Provide systems engineering and integration support to advance CWMD Autonomy technologies in support of CWMD Elimination and Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) for subterranean and hard and deeply buried targets.
- Exploit niche technologies to support CWMD mission strategy in above ground and narrow search modalities for the warfighter.
- Provide Autonomy Subject Matter Expertise with tactical experience with units utilizing autonomous systems.
Required Security Clearance:
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required however we have the ability to hire at the Secret level for highly qualified candidates who are willing to upgrade to TS/SCI.
Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Active Secret level security clearance and the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field and 12+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with DTRA research and development or developmental testing and evaluation
Desired Experience, Skills, and Education:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Prior experience supporting DTRA RD-TS or RD-CXW

Pay Range:Pay Range $126,100.00 - $227,950.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
