ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Building and maintaining data pipelines and automation scripts for reporting, reconciliation, and ticket management
Optimize design for efficient storage and processing; reducing cost while improving performance
Implement security controls using IAM roles, compliance to data governance and retention policies
Designing and configuring related tools and platforms
Continuously evaluate and improve automation workflows for high availability, scalability, and performance.
Stay up to date with new GCP services and best practices, integrating them when beneficial.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in automating cloud infrastructure and services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Strong hands-on experience with Cloud Functions, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
Experience with integrating ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, AWS or similar platforms) into cloud environments.
Familiarity with APIs of popular ticketing tools to extract, transform, and load (ETL) ticket data into cloud platforms.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Appscript, Java
Experience in data modeling and query optimization for BigQuery.
Ability to work with large datasets, build complex queries, and provide insights via reports or dashboards.
Strong understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management) within GCP.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices to ensure compliance and protect sensitive customer data.
Preferred Qualifications
Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer or similar GCP certifications.
